Marín Giménez Hnos. S.A. received the technological innovation award last June 2012 due to its innovative trajectory within food industry. Juan Pedro Marín García had the honour of collecting the award accompanied by all the family.

The company has been a pioneer in aseptic packaging for pieced fruit. After detecting that packed fruit was losing some of its organoleptic properties, it was decided to start working in the development of new thermo physical processes that are nowadays considered a sign of identity of Marín Gimenez’ products. This innovation project has allowed the company to optimize the treatment, increase productivity and reduce energy consumption.
